TRANSLOGIC 98: MABEL Walking Robot

Walking is such a fundamental form of transportation that we often take it for granted. Teaching a robot to do it is another matter. The University of Michigan's MABEL bi-pedal robot can walk, run and respond to dynamic changes in terrain without tripping--just like us.

TRANSLOGIC 101: Detroit Transportation Infrastructure
Hosted by Bradley Hasemeyer
Produced & Directed by Daniel Loyd
Cinematography by Tomi Skarica
Edited by Daniel Loyd

Detroit, Mich. is one of America's most iconic cities. Synonymous with the automobile, the Motor City once led the way in construction of roads and interstates. But Detroit's age-old automotive love affair may have been to the detriment of other forms of transit in the city. Now urban planners, policy makers and business leaders are seeking solutions to address Detroit's public transportation needs.

TRANSLOGIC 63: EPIC 232se ELECTRIC SPEEDBOAT
Produced & Directed by Daniel Loyd
Cinematography by Tomi Skarica
Edited by Daniel Loyd

The internets are full of EPIC wins and EPIC fails, so when you name your brand of alt-fuel sport watercraft EPIC Boats, the product better backup the claim. Bradley gets the chance to put the EPIC 232se electric prototype to the test with World Champion wakeboarder Jeff Weatherall--and the stunt Jeff pulls at the end of the show? You guessed it: EPIC.

TRANSLOGIC 59: Lexus LFA Supercar
Hosted by Bradley Hasemeyer
Produced by Luke Wahl
Co-Produced and Edited by Daniel Loyd
Cinematography by Tomi Skarica

What do you get when a carmaker like Toyota decides to combine the performance knowledge of its racing division with the refinement and exclusivity of its luxury brand? The Lexus LFA: a nearly $400,000 supercar with power and technology oozing from its many gills. Elements of the chassis are so advanced that Lexus had to develop a 3D carbon fiber loom to render them. The LFA may carry a civilized Lexus badge on its hood, but underneath, its 552 hp V10 engine is anything but. Oh, and did we mention it's offered in an understated hue of eye-melting yellow?
